I love my county as much as the next person, but I'm not particularly patriotic about it. I don't have a flag flying in the front yard or anything. However, when I saw this Clothespin Wreath last fall I immediately saw it in red, white, and blue.
I basically followed the directions on the tutorial in the link. However, I think I used a bigger hoop, and I spray painted the clothespins red and the hoop white. Then I found some patriotic ribbon and tied it up. Since I made this one to give away, I think I'm going to make another for me since I love it so much. However, I will definitely use a smaller hoop - it doesn't really show in the picture, but it's huge! What do you think?

I love the wreath. I think I might leave one natural and then add patriotic colored flowers. I am a new follower. Check me out at www.sciencesoftballandsomethingsweet.blogspot.com
